Initial Discussion and Research

High Level Goals

Moving the mobile experience from an Facebook applet to a separate application like Messenger
  1. An application that can sell, find the items I want, and buy them
  2. An application that looks clean and consistent
  3. An application that displays relevant information

Goal 1

Selling

Have an easy way to post items to sell

Finding items
  • Easily be able to search for items
  • Have ability categorize between sections
  • Have advanced sorting and filtering options
Buying

Once you have found an item, be able to buy it - View information / Contact seller

Goal 2

Clean Look

Clean up the UI/UX

  • Keep useful cues from current design
  • Add new ideas/suggestions

Mobile

  • Separate experience into an App

Desktop

  • Keep as an applet inside of Facebook - Add new layout/structure from mobile
Consistency
  • Streamline experience between devices
  • Design around Facebook ecosystem

Goal 3

Display Information

Product

  • Display important information first (Make sure there is consistency)

Seller

  • Enhance Seller Profile - Revamp Rating system (Take cues from competitors)
  • Require minimum amount of information to post

Top
  • Main-navigation: Search, Messenger(Link)
  • Sub-navigation: All, Stores, Groups
Bundle

Sell several items at a time as a bundle, list each of the item information separately, but have a table of content in the bundle page

Group

Display all the items listed in Facebook Group
